We are the founders of Believers Foundation, a legally recognized 501c3, formally established in 1990. Having served as pastors and teachers, in the United States and in Mexico, we have experienced the operation of various gifts of the Holy Spirit, as the Lord has willed.
We’re grateful and privileged to be able to serve according to the grace of God and build upon the foundation of those who’ve gone before us. For, as Paul expresses in 1 Corinthians 3:10, “No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Christ Jesus.”
Isaiah 28:16, “See, I lay a Stone in Zion, a tested Stone, a precious Cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will never be shaken.”
God has given us many opportunities to choose in the life that we live on this earth. He repeatedly encourages us to ‘choose life’. (Deuteronomy 30:19) The contrast between good and evil has been ‘encoded’ by God into this realm of existence, into that which can be seen, and into that which is unseen.
The opportunities to fail, present a minefield across the landscape of the lives of each and every one of us. If any of us are to survive the trek, we need a guide. Jesus Christ has come that we might have life. He is our Lord and our life; we are to listen and obey His teachings and the direction given by the ever present Holy Spirit of Truth, who has been sent by our Lord, to guide us into all Truth. He reveals all of the hidden things. If He is in us and we are in Him, we have His guarantee of safe passage.
This may seem simple, but it isn’t easy. We invite you to join us, as we maneuver, by His Spirit, through the traps and snares laid by the enemy. If you listen carefully, you will gain the tools needed to overcome, endure, and having done all to stand, will indeed, stand therefore. (Ephesians 6:13) It’s important to God and to us that you do.
